SNHS Tutoring

Tutoring in Science National Honor Society is held on Monday & Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:30 (after school) in Mr. Clou's Room. In order to actively tutor within the club, members need to fill out the tutoring application and meet the prerequisites mentioned on it.

Tutoring consists of choosing a general subject (biology, chemistry, or physics) and helping individuals who have trouble with that subject. Sometimes the subject can be specified to a specific level within that subject (ie. Honors Chemistry, HL Biology, AP Physics).

The weeks when we have student presentations there will most likely not be any active tutoring sessions unless we can get another room to host them in.

If you show up to tutor but there is no one that needs to be tutored under your subject, you will receive half a point. If you actually tutor someone for the entire tutoring session, you will receive an entire point.

The tutoring application can be viewed and downloaded from this page. You may choose up to 2 subjects to tutor but only one is required on the application.
